Renowned for supporting the education of thousands of students, the KC Mahindra Education Trust has invited applications for scholarships earmarked for students applying for postgraduate programmes abroad. Offered since 1956, the scholarship has been offered to bright Indian students wishing to complete their higher studies at reputable universities abroad.
The KC Mahindra Education Trust scholarship for postgraduate studies abroad has been designed to offer students interest-free loan scholarships. Students who have either secured admission or have applied for admission at reputable institutions abroad for programmes starting from August 2023 till February 2024, can apply for the scholarship.

There are two awards offered under the KC Mahindra Education Trust scholarship for postgraduate studies abroad, as outlined below:

A maximum of INR 10 lakhs each, will be offered to the top 3 scholars.

Other successful candidates will receive INR 5 lakhs.
Eligibility for KC Mahindra Education Trust Scholarship
To be eligible for the scholarship, all candidates are required to meet the minimum criteria for the KC Mahindra Education Trust scholarship for postgraduate studies abroad, which have been highlighted below:

All applicants must present proof of attaining First Class in their undergraduate degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.

Only Indian applicants who have either secured admission to reputable universities abroad in postgraduate studies or those who have applied for the same will be considered eligible.

The course should start on any date from August 2023 to February 2024.

Application Process and Documents Required
All interested candidates must apply for the scholarships via the official website after creating an account and logging in with registered details. In addition to the eligibility criteria for the scholarship by KC Mahindra Education Trust, students must also submit the following documents:

Copy of the admission letter

A letter of recommendation from a referee should be sent over on the letterhead of the institute or company.

Candidates must also submit a short statement highlighting their general aptitude and interest as well as the type of vocation they wish to pursue along with their aspirations and ambitions in life.

Students will also need to submit their GRE or GMAT scores, if applicable.

They will also need to submit their IELTS/TOEFL scores, wherever applicable.

Proof of course completion and degree academic transcripts, including mark sheets.

Rank certificates, wherever applicable.

Copy of 10th and 12th Board exam mark sheets and school leaving certificates.

It should be noted that these scholarship awards have been earmarked for the 2023 academic year, therefore, candidates planning to begin their higher studies abroad this year should apply. According to the official website of the KC Mahindra Education Trust scholarships for postgraduate studies abroad, interested candidates should submit their applications by 31 March 2023. Selected students will receive an email inviting them for an interview, which is expected to be held in the month of July.
