Established in 1754, Columbia University is New Yorks oldest institution for higher education and the 5th oldest university in the United States. A private research university that is also part of the Ivy League, Columbia University enjoys a rich history spanning over a 250 year period in which it has shown immense growth in all aspects and has evolved as one of the best places for higher learning in the USA. The Columbia University campus is located in New York City and is well-equipped with the necessary infrastructure to aid students in learning and research. The campus is beautifully designed and it is home to the 20 schools of Columbia University, 25 libraries, 4 affiliated colleges.
