Monash University International Merit Scholarship

All international students who have applied to study at any level of education at Monash University can apply for the Monash University International Merit Scholarship, with each award valued at AUD 10,000 per annum.   • Must be classed as an international student.

  • Must be intending to enrol in either an undergraduate or graduate coursework at Monash University Australia.

  • Students must have received an offer from Monash.

  • For students who are already enrolled, they should have completed at least two semesters in Australia.

  • Students currently enrolled in the undergraduate and graduate medical courses, i.e. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) or the Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) course must have completed a minimum of 3 semesters.

Candidates will be selected for Monash International Merit Scholarship based on their academic merit and achievement, as well as other requirements such as current students requiring a minimum average weighted mark of 85. Interested students will also be required to submit a scholarship application statement of 500 words.

Note: While the scholarship is available for both, incoming and current students, Monash University will put incoming students on priority and offer them scholarships first.

Monash University Accommodation
