COVID 19 Response
In a bid to curb the spread of the virus, Glasgow Caledonian University has developed an apt COVID-19 Response. From strictly maintaining the social distancing norms on campus to modifying campus facilities, Glasgow Caledonian University has taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety and health of all students, staff and faculty:
GCU has also set up free asymptomatic COVID-19 tests at the Glasgow campus and students who are returning on-campus are encouraged to take the test regularly.
Glasgow Caledonian University will increase the face-to-face on-campus teaching as soon as Scottish Government public health guidance permits.
Students can access the study spaces and library. On-campus accommodation facilities are also available and all COVID-19 safe guidelines are being followed.
Social distancing norms will be implemented strictly, such as wearing face masks, maintaining physical distance and constant sanitisation.
For all in-person classes, the laboratories and classrooms have been modified and changed to accommodate the social distancing practices in confined spaces as well.
The Students’ Association of GCU is operating its services online.
