McGill University is one of the oldest and top-ranked public universities of Canada, which was founded in 1821. According to the QS World University ranking, it is ranked 2nd in Canada and 33rd in the world. The university is well-known across the globe for its excellent teaching and research programmes. Every year, students from across 150 countries enrol for admission to various courses at McGill University. It is the centre of education for the brightest students from across the world. McGill University is a member of the Association of Americal Universities which makes it one of the two universities outside the United States that are a part of this association, the other being the University of Toronto. It also has the prestige of being the only Canadian member of the Global University Leaders Forum (GULF) within the World Economic Forum.
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
The main campus of the university is the Downtown campus, which is situated in downtown Montreal. The second campus is the Macdonald campus, which is situated in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. McGill houses a total of 12 faculties and schools among which Arts, Science, Engineering, Management, and Medicine are the famous faculties. It is also a famous centre for research in the field of medicine.In total, the university offers over 1,000 programs across graduate and undergraduate levels. The worlds first artificial cell was made at McGill University by Thomas Chang. Among all research universities of Canada, McGill University has the record of having the highest percentage of PhD students.

1. One-year Scholarship
Value: $3,000 (non-renewable)
Eligibility Requirement
2. Major scholarship
Value: $3,000, $5,000, $10,000 or $12,000 (renewable)

Doctoral: $25000 upto 3 years
Postdoctoral: $35000 1 year
Deadline
This scholarship is awarded to one or more students from India or Hong Kong who have taken admission at McGill University. The scholarship is applicable to undergraduate students who have displayed high academic standing.
Value: Variable
The scholarships are offered to outstanding students who are admitted to any undergraduate course at McGill University. Candidates who display good academic standing with leadership qualities, based on their participation in extracurricular and community activities.
Value: $3,000 to each candidate. It is renewable as well.
