The University of Lincoln is a public institution of higher education in the UK. It was established in 1861 and obtained the university status in 1992. The main campus of the university is situated in Lincoln while the other two campuses are in Riseholme and Holbeach.It has been crowned as the Modern University of the Year in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021 and occupies a rank in the 1000 universities in the QS Top Universities of 2021. The university prides itself on having a student-centric approach towards education. Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
Four colleges are part of the University of Lincoln. These are the College of Arts, College of Science, College of Social Science and Lincoln International Business School. Each college has a number of schools that offer a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in multiple specialisations. Overall, more than 300 programmes are offered by the university and it is especially known for its programmes in the fields of Animal Behaviour, Engineering and Journalism. The Brayford Campus, opened in 1996, is home to some of the most beautiful architecture in the city. Students at the university campus have plenty of options for activities like fitness classes, gym, outdoor games like football, basketball, hockey and trampolines. A variety of shows, performances, traditional events, comedy and music, are conducted at frequent intervals of time at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre.

The following are the latest updates on the teaching and learning programme at the University of Lincoln for the academic year 2021/ 22:
The University of Lincoln is planning to start in-person teaching from July 9/10 after the UK Governments announcement to restart on-campus teaching and activities.
Students can join the Open day ceremony for the summer term in which students can meet face-to-face with academic tutors and speak to expert staff about the courses and academic teachings. Students can also speculate the city-centre campus, academic facilities and accommodation facilities on campus.
The University of Lincoln shall be following the government's advice to maintain safety and precautions on campus. For this, the campus area is restructured and space is adjusted to maintain social distancing. Also, there is flexibility for changes in future as per the circumstances and government's guidelines.

There is no need to apply for the scholarship and students from India who have applied to study at the University of Lincoln are automatically considered for scholarship.
Eligibility: To be considered eligible for this scholarship, a candidate must:
Be an Indian national
Hold an offer of admission to a master’s degree programme
Meet the minimum English requirements for direct admission to their choice of programme.
Have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks or equivalent.

Note: In case, the application to study at the University of Lincoln is submitted after the applicable deadline, then the candidate can contact the International Office to confirm the eligibility to receive the India Scholarship.
The University of Lincoln offers 50% Global Scholarships to international applicants who demonstrate excellent academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular or personal activities. The student must meet the following criteria to receive the scholarship:
Must hold an unconditional offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme for 2021 or 2022 academic sessions.
Must meet the English language requirements for the specific course of study. The IELTS score accepted is generally 6.0 to 7.0 or equivalent.
The candidate must complete an International Scholarship Application Form.
How to Apply?
The scholarship is competitive and is awarded to candidates who hold an outstanding achievement. Along with the admission application form, the candidate must submit a 500-word statement as a part of the scholarship application.
The result is declared within 10 days of the application closing date.
