Depending on the campus that the student is enrolling to, applicants are eligible for scholarships worth an average of USD 8,000 per academic year [if applying to Uptown (Main) Campus], meanwhile, those applying to regional campuses are eligible for scholarships worth an average of USD 1,500 per academic year. UC Global Scholarship Eligibility Criteria for First-Year Students
Students are eligible for the scholarship if they are:
Students who completed their high school education outside the US; or
Students applying/entering the University of Cincinnati directly from a university outside the US; or
Students are entering UC on a Conditional Admission; or
Students/Foreign Nationals completing or have completed an associate degree from a university or community college in or outside the US; or
Students/Foreign National transfer students who have successfully earned at least 24 semester hours under a university-level course outside the US.
They should also present one of the following test scores:
SAT Critical Reading and Math - 1130
ACT - 23 (Composite)
TOEFL* - 79 (Composite) with a minimum score of 15 per section.

The Initial application, which can be completed online. Here, students are required to submit general information, select their meal plan, review and sign the housing contract/agreement and pay the application fee.
Living-Learning Communities and roommate profile and roommate groups. While this step is optional, students have the option of choosing or indicating their interest in living either in a Living-Learning community or opting for a roommate or a roommate group.
Room selection and move-in. An important step, the university invites all interested students to select their room and the roommate matching process begins. The process usually spans over a couple of months starting May, but all information will be provided to the students via their registered email address.
