Overview

University of Adelaide, established in 1874, is the third-oldest university in Australia. It has four main campuses, three in South Australia and one in Melbourne. It is a well-known public research university in Australia that ranks in the top 1% of the university in the world and is also a part of the Group of Eight (Go8) universities of Australia. Further, the university is a member of Academia Consortium 21 which is an association of 20 research-intensive universities. The University of Adelaide has consistently been acknowledged as a pioneer and regular host of the Lecture series.
