Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is the fastest growing public college in Ontario. It is a leader in polytechnic education serving more than 23,000 annually. It was established in 1967 as the Conestoga College of Applied Arts and Technology and later in 2002 changed its name to the current one. Conestoga is the only college to offer engineering degrees accredited by CEAB. The Bachelor of Applied Health Information Science is the only undergraduate program accredited by the Canadian Health Information Management Association. The 28 Co-Op programs offered by Conestoga college hold accreditation from Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL Canada). The graduates of the Bachelor of Nursing program at Conestoga College receive degrees from McMaster University.
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
The 150-acre campus holds buildings filled with classrooms, lecture halls, studios, support services, and administration offices. It has a vast recreation center, specially designed ATS Engineering Complex and libraries. The recreation center has a gym, running tracks, and a wellness centre. Conestoga College has six campus locations Doon, Cambridge, Downtown Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, and Brantford Campus. It is centrally located and surrounded by a great residential neighbourhood. The main campus at Kitchener is 2 hours away from Toronto. Kitchener and Waterloo are considered twin cities. The College offers diplomas, advanced diplomas, bachelor and post graduate courses from 11 different schools, namely, School of Business, Community Service, Creative Industries, Engineering Technology, Hospitality, Language and Communication Studies, Liberal Studies, School of Workforce Development. The most popular courses are Management, Business Analytics, Operations, etc.

Student Diversity & Visiting Companies
The institution has approximately 23,000 students across all its campuses. As of the 2019-20 fall intake, it holds an enrolment of 7000 international students representing over 80 countries from around the world. The largest number of international students comes from none other than India (3230 students). Collaborative job fairs by the University of Guelph, University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, and Conestoga College are organized to help students get in touch with the employers. More than 200 organizations participate in these fairs. Top organizations that hire from the university include BlackBerry, Apple, Cargill Ltd., Enterprise Holdings, Keyence Canada Inc., Morrison Hershfield, PepsiCo Beverages Canada, and ApplyBoard to name a few.
