FT Global MBA Ranking 2022: Insead, London Business School, University of Chicago in Top 10

It is an honourable and proud momentfora few business schools in Indiaas the Financial Times Global MBA rankings, which mention the top 100 MBA institutes in the world, has announced the chart for 2022. Among the top 100 MBA institutes in the world, 4 Indian B-Schools have taken up spots in the prestigious ranking list. A lot of previous year's rankers have lost their places in light of results for the efforts made during pandemic.

Harvard,Stanford and Wharton had previously opted out of the list in 2021. With their re-entry in 2022 Wharton (University of Pennsylvania)placed 1st and Harvard and Stanford took 3rd and 6th spots respectively.

FT Global MBA Ranks 2022: Top Business Schools in the World

Out of all the thousands of MBA schools in the world, the top 10 business schools in the world are among the most prestigious schools as well. Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, US, took upthe first spot in ranking chart with an increase of 115% in weighted salary of graduated students. Insead, France and Singapore, which was last year's top B-school took the third spot in FTs 2022 list for the top MBA schools in the world. Columbia Business School bagged 2nd place with 125% salary increase. Meanwhile, London Busines School and the University of Chicago, Booth, previous year's 2nd and 3rd,took the 8th and 7th spots respectively.

Needless to say, re-entry of Whaton, Harvard and Stanford has caused 2022 rankings to be drastically different form 2021. Here are the changes in current year ranks of 2021's top10 Business Schools in the World as per Financial Times Global MBA ranks.

In order to be ranked by FT Global MBA Chart all the B-schools have to be accredited either by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business or Equis, which are both international agencies. While European MBA institutions took a number of spots with 9 schools from UK, US MBA Colleges and Universities dominated the FT Global MBA Ranks 2022 with more than half of spots in the chart. Indian B-Schools continued being within the top 100 Business Schools in the world, which according to Financial Times is a huge achievement for the Indian Education System and the B-Schools as well. Showcasing a global expansion of business education 6 Chinese B-schools, 3 Hong Kong's and 1 each of South Korea and Mexico were included in the chart.

Taking the Best B-School tag in India is the Indian School of Business (ISB), while the other spots have taken up by the Indian Institutes of Management or IIMs as popularly recognised. The Indian School of Business was able to earn the 32nd spot in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking list while 3 IIMs took up spots in the toppositions, except for IIM Indore.

FT Global MBA Ranks 2022: Top Business Schools in India

As per the 2022list released by Financial Times for the top B-Schools in India, the following institutions took up the respective positions.

Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2022was compiled considering a number of parameters and factors including salaries of the alumni members, three years after graduation, along with the value for money, the quality of research and much more.
