The QS World University Rankings 2023, released on June 8, 2022, features the top 1,422universities from 80 different locations across the world. While the Massachusetts Institute for Technology (MIT) has retained its top spot for the eleventh consecutive year, the University of Cambridge climbed from the 3rd positionin the 2022edition to 2nd in the 2023edition.
QS University Ranking assessed andconsidered for inclusion,thousands of universitiesaccording to six metrics including academic reputation (40%), faculty/student ratio (20%), international faculty ratio (5%), international student ratio (5%), citations per faculty (20%) and employer reputation (10%).
