Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), established in the year 1824, is a highly-ranked public institute for higher education and research in the United Kingdom. The university was initially set up as the Manchester Mechanics Institute. It went through several changes in terms of structure and name over the years before it attained university status in 1992 under what it is called now. It is accredited by the University Alliance and has affiliations from the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the North West Universities Association (NWUA).
Manchester Metropolitan University runs two campuses - All Saints, located in the center of Manchester and the other one is Birley Campus, which is on the edge of the city center. Both the campuses feature avant-garde academic buildings, administrative offices, recreational centers, and student residences. Their libraries hold extensive collections of unique and precious printed volumes and digital resources for the reference of students and teachers. The Students Union is the core of the Manchester campus and home to a food bar, pub, shop, advice center, event space and various other essentials at student-friendly prices.

Manchester Metropolitan University accepts undergraduate applications via UCAS application portal. Check out the steps below:
Step 1: Register with UCAS
To fill an application, candidates should first sign up at UCAS application portal, the only site that manages all UK-based universities. So, go to UCAS' official website and create an account or if the candidate already has an account, they can just login.
Step 2: Choose a course
After logging, go through all the underground and postgraduate courses offered by MMU to finalise the course the candidate wants to pursue. While selecting the course, keep in mind to check all the requirements.
Step 3: Gather all supporting documents
Before applying, candidates should gather all the required documents as per the course. The documents may include - academic qualifications and transcripts, Personal statement, two completed references, English proficiency test scores, etc. Gather all of these first to make the admission process go smoothly.
Step 4: Fill up the form
Now as all the documents are here, it's time to fill up the form. Read the form carefully and then accurately fill and attach the documents. Make sure to recheck again and again. Do not leave any blank spaces or any question or column left unanswered.
Step 5: Make payment
After reviewing and eliminating all the errors, now move forward with the payment option. Candidates are required to pay a small administrative fee to UCAS while applying to any university or college.
Step 6: Submit the application
After paying the application fee, candidates can submit the application now and wait for the response.

General and Chancellor’s International Awards
This scholarship is for both international undergraduate and postgraduate students. When you apply to study at the university, they will check whether the candidate qualifies or not. So, there is no rule to apply separately for the scholarship
The prestigious Chancellor’s and Vice-Chancellor’s International Awards are awarded to exceptional international students who are at the college for full-time courses. The value of the scholarship ranges between GBP 6,000 and GBP 8,000, in the first year of study.
September scholarships for undergraduate International students
This is mainly for undergraduate students from outside the UK, who will pay full overseas tuition fees. They must have been accepted onto a full-time taught bachelors degree course starting in September 2022. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other financial support from Manchester Metropolitan University. The scholarship value has been set at GBP 2,000 for each year of the degree.
September scholarships for postgraduate International students
This is mainly for postgraduate students from outside the UK, who will pay full overseas tuition fees. They must have been accepted onto a full-time taught masters degree course starting in September 2022. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other financial support from Manchester Metropolitan University. The scholarship value has been set at GBP 3,000 for each year of the degree.
There are certain non-professional courses by Manchester Metropolitan University with an option of a ‘sandwich year’ that takes place between the second and third years of the course. The candidate will be placed within industry for up to 12 months in a paid position. They will return to Man Met to complete your final year.

The eligibility criteria for International undergraduate Scholarship is as follows:
Applicants need not apply for the course. Eligible candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship. Candidates who receive the scholarship can see it in the online enrolment.
Value: There is some reduction in the tuition fees for students who receive the scholarship. It is covered for each year of 120 credits study.
