The result of Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by subject 2022have been announced. Overall, US universities have stood out across a variety of subjects, followed by UK universities including the University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, UCL, London School of Economics and Political Science, and more.
In Times World University Rankings 2022, The University of Oxford has topped the rankings for the fifth consecutive year, while Stanford and Harvard have been ranked second and third, respectively
THE has revealed top global institutions across 11 subjects including Arts & Humanities; Business & Economics; Clinical, Pre-clinical & Health; Engineering & Technology; Computer Science; Education; Physical sciences; Psychology; Law; Life Sciences; and Social Sciences. THE Top Arts & Humanities Institutions 2022
With a total of 565 universities in the list, the ranking names the ones that have managed to make it to the list due to their eminence across areas of study including art, languages, history, architecture, philosophy, literature, linguistics, theology, performing arts, design, and archaeology.

THE Top Business & Economics Institutions 2022
Since 2018, Stanford University were at #1, while MIT and the University of Cambridge are at the second and third place. This year, MIT has taken over the no. 1 spot. Overall, the list includes 795 universities that have been ranked for their performance in a variety of disciplines such as accounting and finance, business and management and economics and econometrics.
