The United States-based Truman State University has announced plans to offer the President's Honorary scholarship to Indian students.
As per reports, these scholarships will be awarded to meritorious Indian students for on-campus courses for the 2022 session.
For the unversed, the university offers a range of academic programmes through its schools in areas such as business, science and mathematics, health sciences and education, arts and letters, and social and cultural studies, as per the university's website.

Announcing the scholarship, the executive director of international education at Truman, Tim Urbonya, said that this opportunity will help students to progress and help them to explore their interests in different academic disciplines and career opportunities.
Students can apply to get the scholarship by visiting the website international.truman.edu/southasia. The deadline for submitting the application for scholarships is open till April 30th, 2022.

For a scholarship of up to USD 10,000,a minimum of 3.5 GPA, 1300 SAT along with IELTS 7.0 or equivalent and an essay is required.
For a scholarship of up to USD 7,500 a minimum of 3.25 GPA, 1240 SAT, IELTS 7.0 or equivalent, along with an essay is required.
To get a scholarship of up to USD 5,000, a minimum score of 3.0 GPA, 1160 SAT and IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, along with an essay is required.
The scholarship awards, as per reports,can be renewed till eight semesters if a candidate achieves maintain a 3.25-grade point average.
