With the release of the 13th edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, Quacquarelli Symmonds has announced the top 10 universities across the globe offering the best courses in 5 major study areas. Introducing additional parameters to the evaluation this year, QS has been able to shortlist the best in every field, providing a better insight into the academic performances of each university than before.
Assessing more than 1,500 universities and colleges from around the world, QS considered 54 subjects which had been divided into 4 broad subject areas. The subject areas chosen for this year’s subject rankings include Life Sciences and Medicine, Arts and Humanities, Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and Social Sciences and Management. Here is a list of the top 10 universities for life sciences and medicine, globally.
1. Harvard University
Topping yet another list, Harvard University has maintained its reputation for being the epitome of academic excellence in the field of Life Sciences and Medicine. There are several programmes offered in the field such as Immunology, Bioinformatics, Molecular and Cellular Biology, and other medical and life sciences courses.

Stealing the 2nd spot from US universities, QS Subject Ranking 2023 recognises Oxford University as the second-best university for life sciences and medical education.
