The University of Canberra in Australia has announced the Vice-Chancellor’s Social Champion Scholarship, for which the last date to apply is October 9, 2022.
The university has invited international students to apply for the scholarship programme, whose overall award amount of the scholarship is AUD 200,000. Three students shall be selected for the same, making the award amount per student about INR 1 crore.
Vice-Chancellor’s Social Champion Scholarship will be awarded to students who have showcased consistent and excellent academic records, leadership qualities, and investment in social equity. The scholarship will cover the expenses of tuition fees, on-campus accommodation, and an annual allowance of AUD 10,000, for a full-time degree, for each selected student.

International students who have received a college acceptance letter for the 2023 intake's first semester of the university can apply for the scholarship. The courses eligible for scholarship awards are full-time bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, which are commencing in the 2023 intake.
Other than the college acceptance letter and application form, students also have to submit a personal statement that divulges the necessary information as requested by the scholarship's guidelines.

The scholarship personal statement of the student must show a financial need and their own experience with values and other factors relevant to socio-economic fields. Students need to relay their own account of leadership or initiation to work for the advancement of social equity in cultural contexts. They must showcase the application of communication, innovation, inspiration, and collaboration with other forces to have achieved success in mentioned endeavours.
