Prospective PhD students need not apply separately for the scholarship, as the university will automatically consider your applications, once you apply for full-time admissions.

Candidates who receive an Offer Letter without a scholarship award will be able to re-apply for the scholarship online through the official website.

Candidates who have already been enrolled will also be able to apply and/or re-apply for the Wellington Doctoral Scholarship through the official website.
Documents Required to Apply for Victoria University of Wellington Doctoral Scholarship
All aspiring PhD students at Victoria University of Wellington who are interested in the Wellington Doctoral Scholarships must provide the appropriate documents. Among the lost of documents needed for the Victoria University of Wellington Doctoral Scholarship include all the official and valid documents of the previous academic record of the candidate.

Applicants who have completed all of their previous studies at Victoria University of Wellington are exempted from this requirement.
Official notifications mentioned that the closing dates for the submission of the applications for the Wellington Doctoral Scholarships are 1st March, 1st July and 1st November. Candidates who have applied for the PhD Scholarships at the university will be notified of their results within the first 6 weeks of the closing date of applications.
