TheUniversity of Hong Kong has been ranked as the 'most international university' of 2022 by The Times Higher Education.43% of the institutions over 18,000 enrolled students are international students.
The university'sefforts to transform the students into global citizens have been a deciding factor in its ranking as first. It also offers its courses in English.
Parameters considered for this ranking included international student, staff and international co-authorship scores, and international reputation metrics.

The top 20 universitiesranked in the listincluded a total of 7 UK institutions, 3 Hong Kongs and 2 of Switzerland and Singapore each.
ETH Zurich, Switzerland has been placed in second place withcole Polytechnique Fdrale de Lausanne,and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technologysharing the third position followed by theUniversity of Oxford in the fifth position.

Other countries in the top 20 areAustralia, Austria, Canada, Ireland, Netherlands and New Zealand. University of Vienna (#11), Trinity College Dublin,Nanyang Technological UniversityandUCL (#=12)and Delft University of Technology (#15).
