The New Zealand qualification authority has partnered with World Education Services (WES) for migrants with international education to improve the country's approach to evaluating international credentials.

New Zealand Qualifications Authority Partners with WES on Qualifications Recognition

An agreement between the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and World Education Services (WES) has been reached to simplify the evaluation of credentials held by immigrants to New Zealand. In accordance with the agreement, WES will offer services for the qualification verification of New Zealand immigration applications.

A New Zealand Crown organisation, NZQA is in charge of making sure that New Zealand's qualifications are recognised as reliable and reputable both domestically and abroad. In order to recognise foreign educational and vocational credentials in New Zealand and to obtain recognition of New Zealand educational and vocational qualifications abroad, NZQA maintains effective communication with foreign certifying and validating organisations.

On the other hand, World Education Services (WES) is a non-profit social company that promotes immigrants, refugees, and foreign students' engagement in education, the economy, and society. They collaborate with a wide range of organisations, leaders, and networks to uplift individuals and bring about systemic change, from assessing academic qualifications to forming policy, developing programmes, and giving charitable money.

According to Dr Grant Klinkum, Chief Executive of NZQA, the organisation is excited to collaborate with WES to ensure a more effective procedure for acknowledging the educational credentials of people who desire to call New Zealand home.

Furthermore, he stated that WES has been examining academic qualifications for many years and is prepared to use this knowledge to the advantage of New Zealand and our new residents.

The new WES Global Records Verification Report for NZQA is intended to speed up services for those who qualify for skilled migrant visas in New Zealand. This is part of a larger effort to enhance the country's economy. NZQA, as New Zealand's authorised national education information hub and competent recognition authority, plays an essential role in the effort's success.

WES is proud to collaborate with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority by providing a WES Global Records Verification Report that will help immigrants integrate more quickly into the workforce, according to Esther Benjamin, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of WES.

Additionally, WES has been evaluating foreign academic qualifications for close to 50 years, and from that expertise, many have learned how important verification is for people looking to offer their knowledge and skills to new countries and communities. It has also demonstrated the importance of migrant talent in fostering economic expansion.
