Established in 1967, the Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is now known as Humber College. It serves as a publicly-funded college in Ontario, Canada. According to Webometrics rankings, Humber College ranked 71 in 2019. Among the world university rankings, Humber College is one of the leading colleges in Toronto and is ranked 8 in research. The University is ranked 501-600th in the US College Rankings 2020 by Times Higher Education. US News and World Report rank it at 218 in National Universities.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

The University has three main campuses; Lakeshore campus, Humber North campus, and Humber Orangeville campus. Located close to the Humber River, the North Campus of the institution is the biggest with 250 acres of campus size. The University delivers various programmes at both bachelors and masters level under six academic faculties. They are faculty of Applied Sciences & Technology, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Science and Innovative Learning, Faculty of Media and Creative Arts and Faculty of Social & Community Services. The institution provides 150 programmes including a bachelors degree, diploma, certificate, post-graduate certificate, and apprenticeship programmes. International Entrance Scholarships

All international students will be eligible to apply for the International Entrance Scholarship offered by Humber College. 10 Undergraduate and 10 graduate students will be selected for the scholarship and based on meeting the necessary eligibility criteria. Value: CA$ 2,000

Eligibility:

  • Candidates with high academic qualifications and merit, i.e. GPA of 85% and 6.5 score and higher in IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo.
  • Scholarships will be awarded to the candidates on a first-serve-first-come basis. Students who have received their Letter of Acceptance and have confirmed their offer before the stipulated date and time will be considered for the scholarship.
  • Students must ensure that they have been accepted for a full-time academic programme at Humber College and must possess an official admission offer letter.

Application Process:

  • Candidates need to submit a list of documents along with the scholarship application: 1. Humber Student ID Number 2. Confirmed Letter of Acceptance from Humber College for a full-time course, which starts from January of the respective year. 3. Personal Statement of Interest, which should also include your Grade Point Average as well. 4. Two reference letters will also be required.

Note: Only those who are successful will be notified of their approval for the scholarships. These scholarships are neither refundable nor deferrable.

Bachelor’s Degree Scholarships

These scholarships will be awarded to candidates who are coming directly after completing a High School or Secondary School. These scholarships will be awarded automatically to the students automatically from high school on the basis of their academic achievement.

Note: The scholarships which are renewable in nature will automatically be offered to the eligible candidates if they have been able to secure 80% or higher in each year of their Bachelor’s degree.
