A report published by an authorised QS University Rankings provider states that the UKis likely to attract more international students for the September 2021 session due to the effectiveness and speed at which the vaccination drive is being processed throughout the country.
Earlier in 2020, international students were in fear that UK universities would defer or cancel the applications of overseas students due to high COVID-19 cases and death toll. However, as the vaccination came into the picture, the international students' interest in the UK increased rapidly.
As per a survey of 105,083 students, nearly 47% of prospective international students are planning toapply for admission in the UK universities due to the good rate of vaccinations in the country and 17% of them agreed that the UK government is handling the vaccination rollout better than any other country.

Along with the effective vaccination programme, the post-study work visas in the UK for international students and years of immigration policies are the other reasons why the UK is considered as one of the top countries to study abroad.
