Overview

Chester University is located in Chester, England. It was originally founded by the Earl of Derby and William Gladstone, who was the Prime Minister of England. It was initially a teacher training college, later became the University of Chester. Chester University is a member of several higher education bodies such as Cathedrals Group, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the North West Universities Association and Universities UK. The Quality Assessment Agency of Higher Education (QAA) commended the institution for its continuous improvement in ensuring that students receive the highest quality education.

Chester University has six schools in Shrewsbury, and one of these is the Parkgate Road Campus. It features a mix of Victorian and modern buildings. Other than a swimming pool and a fitness center, the school has a sports hall, a bookshop, a bank, and science and language laboratories. Other campuses of the university are also well-equipped with various facilities designed to enhance learning. Chester University offers various degrees in various disciplines such as social sciences, health and social care, business and management, and engineering.

Chester University Eligibility Criteria

For admission to their undergraduate programs, students must have a school leaving qualification that is equivalent to the British A-level or the International Baccalaureate.
