Stanford Graduate School of Business Offers Free Online Course on Anti-Racism, Allyship

Stanford Graduate School of Business is offering a free online course on Anti-racism and Allyship. The one-week course will require candidates to spend 45 minutes each day on the course.

Stanford Graduate School of Business (SGSB) has released an official statement to offer free online courses on anti-racism and allyship. The course will be available for students, professionals and educational fraternity from across the world. Those who care about racial equality and justice can join the course.

The theme of the course is designed to address the racism issue at a global level and in context to the US. It is a self-paced course and those who will be enrolled in the course will have to spend 45 minutes each day for a week to participate in the complete programme. The course will include a series of readings, exercises, reflections and actions that the reader will decide to take.

The purpose of the course is to encourage people to take action based on their understanding. The learners will also get the opportunity to access resources and tool for continuing the learning process after the completion of free online sessions.

Sarah Soule, senior associate dean for academic affair and Morgridge professor of organisational behaviour and Stanford Graduate School of Business said that as an educator they believe that change starts with learning and should be incorporated with reflection. He further said that education is the first step to tackle systemic racism that has its effects over centuries.

Stanford University has always been active in offering socially impactful courses that must be addressed at a global level. An Evidence-Based Approach to the Diagnosis and Management of Migraines in Adults in the Primary Care and General Neurology Setting (CME) was one such course offered by the university.
