The US MBA application process is time-consuming as there are multiple components associated with the process. Creating an effective application requires a significant amount of preparation and strategy. Keeping in mind that the colleges look for the best application profile for MBA admissions, you must start with the application process as early as possible.

You may require oneyear or more to create an extraordinary and distinctive profile for an MBA programme. One or Two years Before Applying at B-Schools in the US: Analysis

December to March: Research

Explore the B-Schools in the USA and choose the MBA specialization. Approach recommenders to prepare your Letter of Recommendation (LORs). This is the first step to starting with the MBA Application to study in the USA.

April to June: Prepare for Tests

Start preparing for GMAT or GRE and Englishproficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL or PTE Academic.

July: Attempt Tests

Take GMAT or GRE and English Language tests like IELTS, TOEFL or PTE Academic as per the universitys requirement.

September: Round One of Admissions

Usually, universities have the first round of application deadlines in September. Submit the MBA application at preferred colleges. Also, start preparing for interviews, as most colleges will require you to take an interview once the application is shortlisted.

October to Early January: Check the result of Round One

Check the result of the first round and confirm if you need to apply for the second round of admissions or not

January: Round two of Admissions

Apply for the second round of admission in the US.

March-April: Round Three

In case you are not satisfied with the second round, you can apply for the third round of admission at the university but it is least recommended.

April to May: Confirm Admission

The admission for an MBA programme in the USA is completed by the end of April. You can confirm your admission by making the initial payment for the MBA course at the university.
