The Lester B. Eligibility

To apply and be eligible for the Pearson International Scholarship, you must be:

• An international student (a non-Canadian requiring a study permit);

• In your final year of high school or have graduated no earlier than June 2022

• Commencing classes at the University of Toronto in September 2023 (students already attending post-secondary studies cannot be considered; students starting their studies in January 2023 at another post-secondary institution cannot be considered)

To become a Pearson Scholar, you must be recommended by your school and apply to the University of Toronto for undergraduate studies. To apply, you must do the following:

• Apply to the University of Toronto to begin your studies in 2023, and make sure to submit your application by the deadlines.

• You can complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application once the University has received a nomination and you have applied to the university.

University of Toronto Scholars Program

The University of Toronto Scholars Program is a scholarship offered to the most exceptional secondary school students upon their successful admission to the University of Toronto.

Eligibility

• To be eligible for this scholarship programme, candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree.

• Another important prerequisite is the IELTS exam with a minimum of 6.5 and no band below 6 or the TOEFL exam with a minimum score of 100 and 22 in the writing section.

• Applicants must apply for the first year of direct entry undergraduate studies.

• This scholarship is available for all bachelor's degrees at the University of Toronto.

Students are automatically considered for this scholarship programme, and no extra applications are required.
