Frankfurt School of Finance and Management Doctoral Tuition Waivers: Open to doctoral students at Frankfurt, these scholarships offer tuition fee waivers every academic year. Indian Government Scholarship to Study in Germany

Seeing the vast number of Indian students aspiring to study at universities abroad, the Indian government has created a number of financial aid and scholarships. The Central and state governments provide individual scholarships that aspirants can qualify for, to reduce their financial commitment to study at some of the best universities abroad. National Overseas Scholarship

  • Have obtained 60% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying exam. The qualifying exam for a Master’s degree would be the Bachelor's Degree and for a PhD, the qualifying exam would be the Master’s Degree.

  • Candidates should also not exceed the maximum age limit which has been set at 35 as of 1st April of the year of application.

  • To financially qualify for the scholarship, the combined family income from all sources should not exceed INR 8 lakhs per annum, in the preceding year.

AP Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship

The AP Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship is offered by the government of Andhra Pradesh to low-income students belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC and DW categories. The scholarship is designed to facilitate the dreams of aspirants wishing to study at reputable universities abroad, by offering scholarship awards worth INR 10 to 15 lakhs as a grant.

The eligibility criteria for the AP Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship have been outlined here:

  • Candidates interested in pursuing courses in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, Humanities, Pure Sciences and Social Sciences will be eligible to apply for the scholarship.

  • Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, BC, EBC and DW categories are eligible for the scholarship.

  • To financially qualify, the combined family income from all sources should not exceed more than 2 lakhs.

The scholarship is designed to help students pursue higher education at their dream institutions abroad.

Here are the eligibility criteria for TS Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship:

  • Candidates who possess a valid degree in the fields of Engineering Management, Agriculture Sciences, Social Sciences, Pure Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Humanities, with a minimum of 60% in the qualifying exams can apply for the scholarship.

  • They should not exceed 35 years of age as of July 1 of the year of application.

  • The combined family income from all sources should be less than INR 5 lakhs per annum.
