Queen's University Belfast (QUB), founded in the year 1845, is one of the oldest universities in the United Kingdom. International Office Undergraduate Scholarships
International Office Undergraduate Scholarships are for international students who are studying full-time undergraduate programmes. The applicant is not required to apply for the scholarship personally. The value of the scholarship ranges between GBP 2,500 - 3,000.
Vice Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship
Vice Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarships are for selected new international students, who have enrolled themselves at the university for a full-time undergraduate programme. This scholarship will help the student get 50% of tuition fees paid for up to a maximum of four years.
Queen's Excellence Award
This is a Merit-based scholarship which is exclusively for international students who will commence their full-time undergraduate programme for the 2022-2023 session. Candidates are not required to submit any application separately. The value of this scholarship is GBP 2,000.
Queen's Management School Awards for South East Asia
Queen's Management School Awards is for South East Asian students studying eligible postgraduate taught programmes at the university. This scholarship has been valued at GBP 5,000, for those who are resident in Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, North Korea, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand or Vietnam.
The Queen's University Belfast has a Placement Office for its students that closely deals with a range of employers to develop beneficial placement programmes. The office offers a holistic approach to nurture the students employability skills. Preparation for the placement beings in first year and in the second year, the students attend a number of workshops on interview techniques, commercial awareness, presentation skills, peer learning, stress management, and so on.
