Pratt Institute is a private institution founded in 1887 by American industrialist Charles Bratt. Located in Brooklyn, New York, Pratt Institute is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and its degree programmes are awarded by the State of New York. Pratt Institute offers one of the best courses in the field of Art & Design. The QS World University Ranking by Subject (Art & Design) 2021 ranked Pratt Institute ninth globally. Additionally, Pratt is ranked 15th among "Best Fine Arts Programs"  and 34th in  "Best Library and Information Studies Programs" according to the U.S. News & World Report. A survey conducted by Business Insider revealed that respondents picked Pratt as the 6th-best school for design in the world. 

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

The Pratt institute’s campus extends across an area of 25 acres and is built in a multicultural epicentre for arts, culture, design and business. All undergraduate and graduate courses at the institute are offered under 6 different schools: School of Architecture, School of Art, School of Design, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Information and School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Studying and living at a Pratt campus is an exhilarating experience for students.
