Kansas State University also known as K-State of KSU  is a public research university, which was founded in 1863. The main campus of KSU is in Manhattan, Kansas, United States. Kansas State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). K-State is also a member of The Kansas Board of Regents. In the 2020 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, K-State has been ranked #162.

Infrastructure, Campus & Course

The university has a total of four campuses and each campus has its own uniqueness. Manhattan campus expands over an area of 2,320 acres and has facilities for agriculture and research. Olathe campus is the newest campus of K-State and aims at offering technology to meet the needs of industry. The polytechnic campus is known to offer a bachelor’s degree in unmanned aircraft systems. K-State Global Campus is known to offer online courses,  accelerated courses, intersession and evening college courses. More than 250 UG courses at Kansas State University are offered to both domestic and international students. Graduate courses offered at Kansas State University are more than 165. 

Accomplishments & Alumni   The progress of KSU since its inception has been encouraging and it shows that the university has a  significant contribution to the economy and welfare of society. Research work at KSU is one of the best in the country. Every year more than  3500 students graduate from KSU.  The alumni have amazing careers and accomplishments in different fields like business, sports, entertainment, military or education. Some of the notable alumni of KSU are Steven Howe, director of the Center for Space Nuclear Research,  Margaret Grosh, senior economist at World Bank, Raymond C. Bushland, 1992 World Food Prize co-winner, 2016 Golden Goose Awardee, Kirstie Alley, Emmy-winning actress, Thane Baker, Olympic gold medallist etc.    Student Diversity & Visiting Companies   Kansas State University is known for its multicultural students and it is one of the preferred choices by high school students for higher education. The university holds one of the best placement records. Placement rate at Kansas State University is 96% for Bachelor’s degree and 97% for Master’s Degree. The placement rate is determined on the basis of students who find a job or enroll for further studies within six months of completion of course.
