Georgia State University is a public research university in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. It was founded in 1913 as the Georgia Institute of Technology- "Evening School of Commerce” and was renamed Georgia State University in 1969. Georgia State is among the most diverse universities in the U.S. It is recognised as the second most innovative university in the country by U.S News and Report. GSU  has 6 campuses spread across Atlanta city. It hosts 11 colleges and schools and offers more than 250 degrees in more than 100 areas of study.
