Concordia University is a private university situated in River Forest, Illinois, 10 miles from Chicago. It was founded in 1864 and is affiliated with the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod (LCMS). It is one of the eight colleges and universities whose academics are affiliated with the Concordia University System (CUS). Concordia University Chicago is a Christ-centered Lutheran university that believes in transforming the lives of students by offering high-quality education and teachings for the personal development of an individual.

Concordia University Chicago is divided into four Colleges namely College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, College of Business and College of Graduate Studies to offer a wide range of degree programmes in various areas of studies. The main campus of Concordia University Chicago is well designed and has all the necessary facilities and amenities for the best experience for students. COVID- 19 Response
Concordia University Chicago has announced to offer courses for Fall 2021 at campus. All courses will be conducted face-to-face with safety measures and precautions.
The campus services resume with full in residence hall occupancy along with facilities and services for the best on-campus experiences.
Protecting the health and safety of everyone remains the priority for the university. For this, the Emergency Response Team continues to monitor everyone and implement the best practices to avoid the spread of the virus.
Use of face masks, social distancing and personal hygiene are mandatory guidelines to following on the campus.
Use of elevators is limited and housekeepers are regularly applying EPA-approved
antimicrobial protectant to all classroom desks and surfaces.
On-campus isolation rooms for residential students are available for students in case anyone test positive for COVID-19.
Students who are enrolled in a full- time undergraduate course at Concordia University are eligible to receive a merit-based scholarship. The scholarship is available for students who are getting enrolled in the Fall Semester for the 2020-2021 academic year. The student must maintain a good academic performance to receive the merit-based scholarship.
The two merit-based scholarships available for international students and the amount awarded is mentioned below:
Freshman Merit Scholarship/Award: $5,000 - $15,000
Freshman Leadership Scholarship: $5,000 - $10,000
Students who apply for admissions at Concordia University, Chicago for full-time undergraduate studies are automatically considered for scholarship. There is no need to fill in a separate application. Academic background and achievements are considered to shortlist students for Merit-Based Scholarship.
