Kuban State Medical University, also known as Kuban State University, is a Government-run MBBS institution in Russia that was founded in 1920 in Krasnodar, one of the countrys largest cities. Kuban State Medical University is one of Russias ancient universities offering the MBBS programme. Also, the university is Russias one of the most top-ranked medical universities. Currently, the authority of the Kuban State Medical University remains with the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Being one of the favourite destinations in Russia to study MBBS from, the Kuban State Medical University is approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Medical Commission (NMC).

In addition to the 6-year MBBS programme, the Kuban State University offers several other graduate, postgraduate, double-degree and doctoral programmes in the field of Philosophy, Law, Journalism, Computer Technology, Biology, Architecture & Design etc. The university also offers some short-term programmes and pre-university courses for international students. The university has a total of 5 campuses, 2 institutions and 15 faculties located around the Krasnodar region. It also has 900 classrooms and labs in addition to 12 lecture halls that can hold approximately 1600 pieces of technology and digital equipment. Kuban State Universitys library is one of the largest in Russias Southern part, effectively mixing conventional and modern advanced techniques that have enabled it to become the most important component of the university. The university library currently has over 13,50,000 volumes of a comprehensive collection of Science and Scholarly works, as well as literature, abstract journals and periodicals in all fields of education.
