V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University, one of the top MBBS universities, is among the 10 federal universities of the Russian Federation located in the city of Simferopol. Named after the academician Vladimir Vernadsky, the university traces its history back to 1918 when Taurida University, the first higher education institution was established in Crimea. It was only in 2014 when V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University was established under the directive of then Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Today, the university carries out teaching, research and training programs across the fields of science, medicine, art and humanities. Accredited by both National Medical Commission (NMC) and WHO, the university offers organizational, scientific and methodological aspects related to MBBS.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

At present, V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University comprises a network of research and production facilities with a total of 23 academic and non-academic units, 12 branches across Crimea including 11 research and science institutions and centres, 7 colleges and 10 academies and institutes. MBBS education at the university is delivered not only in the traditional classroom setting but also in language laboratories, multimedia and full-equipped specialised classrooms, student farms and partner companies. Crimean Federal University, is in fact, among the top medical schools in Russia and held to be the cradle of scientific medical societies, guidebooks, medical journals and manuals. In addition, the university offers a variety of leisure activities including performing arts societies, sports clubs, song, dance and theatre groups.
