15 new services have been updated by UAE for its residents, visitors and citizens that include 30 days extension of visit visas.

UAE Introduces 15 New Visa and Entry Permit Updates

Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security of UAE announced the implementation of fifteen fresh updates to upgrade its smart service system that provides services to its residents, citizens and visitors.

 UAE aims to bring on the latest developments in the service system and provide high-quality services. The authorities adopted and implemented the initiatives from February 1, 2023. 

One of the important updates is the introduction of a one-time visa extension of 30 days for 90 days visit visas. Changes have been made to the renewal of residence visas where a new policy will be implemented to restrict renewal applications if the validity of residence is for more than six months.

ICA has also launched new services to cancel and amend visa information for GCC nations citizens who have registered without an Emirates ID. Services for extending the pre-entry validity of visas and visit visas of friends or relatives on single or multiple trips of 30, 60 or 90 days.

The smart service also includes printing visa and residence details services in visa holders’ accounts. 

The new updates include PRAN NUMBER, the reference number for identity requests to the financial receipts. A smart service fee of DH 100 has been added to the cost of Emirates ID and a visa has also been incorporated into the system.

Services for residence visa holders who have stayed outside UAE for more than six months are available in the smart service system.

Other updates include visa issuance for a family group visiting the UAE for tourism, treatment or accompanying a patient for single or multiple trips of 60 to 180 days.

These smart service system has been made available in the accounts of establishments and individuals so that the chances of obtaining them increases.

Director General of the Authority, Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili said that the development of smart services vouch for dynamic processes that the authorities carry out within the future outlook framework. It also reads the future directions of the government while knowing customers' needs to meet them faster to improve their quality of life.
