The project she is working on involves the study of surface interactions of water pollutants with photocatalyst by computational chemistry methods like ab initio molecular dynamics and density functional theory.

Manasi said that she did not expect to receive the award at an early age of her career however, it is all because of the continuous efforts she has put in her work and projects. She further added that it always a pleasure to get recognition from the naive place and the award reminds that the efforts are being acknowledged, no matter what the innovation and expertise is.
