In keeping with their objective of welcoming students from all around the world, Arden University, located in the UK has announced several hundred scholarships for those looking to pursue the BSc (Hons) Psychology and BSc (Hons) Psychology with Counselling courses.
As per their media release, Arden University has announced 600 scholarships specifically for students starting their studies in 2022 in either of the two Psychology courses mentioned above, further highlighting their commitment to support students keen on pursuing careers in the field.
At the announcement of the courses, Ardens Head of the School of Psychology and Social Sciences, Gail Steptoe-Warren highlighted the rewarding nature of working psychology-oriented careers. Gail added that the Arden University scholarships for Psychology will help students passionate about building a career in psychology, by covering their tuition costs, as well as bringing about job opportunities in the field, all the while raising funds for a very worthy cause.

Arden further highlighted their commitment towards offering opportunities to students to pursue exceptional courses designed to advance their careers irrespective of their background, locations or current commitments.
Ardent University BSc Psychology Scholarship

The Psychology scholarship is valued at 1,000, made up of a 950 discount on the tuition fees.

The scholarship is aimed at students finding it difficult to fund their studies at Arden.

The scholarship will also be supporting Mind, a charity that offers advice and guidance to those experiencing mental health issues while campaigning to improve services, promoting and raising awareness in understanding mental health.
According to Arden, upon successfully awarding the scholarships, the total donation, which will be given to Mind, will total 30,000.

Speaking on Ardens support, Ian OReilly, Head of Community and Events Fundraising at Mind, stated their gratitude for the university through the scholarships programme. With many still continuing to feel the impact of the pandemic on ones mental health and well being, especially those with existing challenges, the money raised through Arden University will help facilitate Minds campaign in improving services and offering support and information, OReilly added. Among some of the support services include the Mind Infoline, legal line and an online peer support community for adults, thus, facilitating support and guidance for as many people as possible.
