The academic session for an MBBS course in various medical colleges in Kyrgyzstan usually begins in August or September, each year. Interested candidates must fill in the application forms as early as possible to secure a seat in the desired college.
The academic year in Kyrgyzstan normally begins in the month of September and ends in June. The colleges follow a semester format. The undergraduate course semester in a higher education institution in Kyrgyzstan lasts a duration of 17 to 18 weeks. A usual postgraduate course semester lasts for a duration of 15 to 16 weeks. The duration of lectures for each week commonly does not exceed more than 30 hours. The schedule for each semester is defined by the dean of the Faculty and the Department of the Educational Institute.

Applicants from India with a valid NEET scorecard and who meet the general eligibility criteria required for MBBS admissions in an MBBS college in Kyrgyzstan must fill in the application form.
As the academic session in Kyrgyzstan begins in the months of August/September, the application deadline is usually scheduled during June/July in most colleges. However, certain medical colleges extend the deadlines of admissions based on the availability of seats.
International students should complete the application process including the submission of the required documents as early as possible since several formalities need to be completed even after the admission is confirmed in a specific college. Among the pre-admission and post-admission processes, students will be required to complete the visa process, document verification process, travel plans, booking for accommodation etc.
The step by step procedure to apply for MBBS course in Kyrgyzstan is as follows:
Submit an online application form for MBBS admission through the official website of the respective university or college.
Along with the online application form, students are required to submit scanned copies of their passport and other necessary documents through the official website of the college/university.
The admission letter will be issued within 10 working days after the submission of the online application form. The admission letter can be downloaded from the official website of the college/ it will be sent to your e-mail id.
After the confirmation of the admission offer, you must start with the immigration procedure.
Student must visit the Embassy of Kyrgyz Republic for submitting the Student Visa application and obtaining Study Visa for pursuing MBBS in Kyrgyzstan medical universities.

Students applying for MBBS Admissions in Kyrgyzstan must meet certain minimum eligibility criteria to be considered for admission. The eligibility criteria for MBBS programmes in Kyrgyzstan are as follows:
Applicants must have passed Class 12th from a recognised Board in Science and must have opted for Biology as a mandatory subject.
The minimum marks obtained in Science subjects should be 50%.
The minimum age of the student should be 17 years as of December 31st of the academic year.
A student from India must qualify a NEET entrance examination.
Indian students planning to study MBBS in Kyrgyzstan must qualify NEET-UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) to obtain Eligibility Certificate (EC). Without an EC, students will not be able to pursue MBBS in Kyrgyzstan. Medical universities of Kyrgyzstan do not conduct an entrance exam for MBBS admission. The other eligibility criteria for MBBS admissions in Kyrgyzstan is as follows:
The lower age limit of the candidate should be more than 17 years.
The candidates must have passed Class 12 with 55% of marks in the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
The candidates must have passed Class 12 with English as the medium of instruction.
Indian students must clear the NEET-UG exam.
It should also be noted that an English Language entrance test requirement is not mandatory for MBBS admissions in medical colleges abroad.
Admission to higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan is based on merit. Applicants must meet the academic requirements and qualify the required entrance examination for admission to the desired college.
Once the application is received at an individual college, the admission office team scrutinizes the application and verifies the submitted documents. The admission process is merit-based and those students who meet the requirements specified by the college are shortlisted for admission.
Many colleges also conduct an online interview of the shortlisted candidates before finalising their enrollment. While a good academic record and entrance exam scorecard is needed for admission, it does not guarantee a seat in an MBBS degree programme in the desired college in Kyrgyzstan. The admission also depends on the number of applications received and the availability of seats. Sometimes, colleges may also extend admission dates depending on the availability of seats.
