Auburn University was founded in 1856 as the East Alabama Male College. It was renamed as Auburn University 1960. The university is situated in Auburn, Alabama province of the United States. Auburn University, Auburn, USA Scholarship

Merit Scholarships

Merit Scholarships, renewable after four years, are awarded only to freshmen enrolling in summer or fall immediately after high school graduation. Students will be considered for merit scholarships at Auburn based on an overall review of the admission application by Undergraduate Admissions along with the information provided on the scholarship application through the AUSOM. Only the highest composite ACT score or total SAT score from a single test date will be used to grant merit scholarships.

Departmental Scholarships

At Auburn, Departmental Scholarships are awarded by its 12 colleges and schools. Criteria shall vary from programme to programme and may not be limited to academic major,  academic achievement, geographic location or financial need. Departmental Scholarships may be granted beginning in January to incoming freshmen.
