St. Mary's University was founded in 1852 as St. Mary’s Institute by Brothers of the Society of Mary (Marianists). It is a private university affiliated with the Roman Catholic. The university is located in  San Antonio, Texas and is recognised as a top Catholic university in the Southwest. The Forbes magazine ranked St. Mary’s 27th best in Texas and No. 128 in the South as the best university of 2021. In the Best Colleges ranking of. The U.S. News & World Report, St. Mary’s ranks 10th out of 92 universities for academic quality, especially student outcomes. 

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses 

St. Mary’s University has 13 residence halls to provide accommodation facilities to the community. There are several halls to provide enough space to live, study, relax and play. There is also an outdoor pool,  sand volleyball court,  grills and fire pit hammock garden for the use of residents. St. Mary’s is a well-known institution for quality academic programs offered by excellent faculty. The university is divided into four colleges- College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Greehey School of Business. School of Law and School of Science, Engineering and Technology. In addition to the 75 undergraduate minors and majors programmes, graduate programs, St. Mary’s University also offers certificate programs, special academic programs and online courses.
