Extending a helping hand to the incoming international students to the US, a few organisations within the University of Southern Mississippi have partnered up. As per the official notification from the university, three organisations within the university have joined hands for the 'Blessings in a Backpack'programme.
As the new academic year and international students start to arrive at colleges, the three organisations, viz. USM Staff Council, USM Association of Office Professionals and USM Sigma Alpha Lambda Honour Society will help the international students be ready for the upcoming semester.
The 'Blessings in a Backpack'program will see the organisations pack up a backpack full of essential school supplies that international students may need for the Fall 2021 semester at the University of Southern Mississippi.
