A wide range of English taught programmes are offered for international students in Holland. The country is known to offer quality education for higher studies in undergraduate and postgraduate categories. Tuition fees for higher education at the universities of Holland vary according to the university. Students can find Dutch universities which are Government-funded as well as Private. Tuition fees do not cover the cost of books, uniforms or extra courses taken by a student. The student will have to bear these costs on his/her part.
Government Funded Universities: These universities define two types of tuition fees namely Statutory fees and Institutional fees. Statutory fees are paid by the students of the Netherlands or students belonging to EU/EEA countries. Students from other countries must pay institutional fees.
Private Universities: Private Universities in Holland offer Bachelor’s, Master’s and Preparatory courses. The tuition fees for Preparatory courses are usually the same for both domestic and international students. But there is a variation in tuition fees for European and non-European students when it comes to Bachelor’s and Master’s programme.
