Box Hill Institute is a vocational and higher education provider in Melbourne in Victoria. Institute is a descendant of two Box Hill area technical schools. In 1924 Box Hill Technical School for Girls and Women was opened and in 1943 Box Hill Technical School for Boys was established and in 1984 both schools merged to form Box Hill College of TAFE and in 1995 it was renamed to Box Hill Institute of TAFE. In Australia, the institute is ranked at 57th position. The Box Hill Institute is accredited by the Engineers Australia, Australian Computer Society, Engineering Accreditation Board of the Engineering Council - United Kingdom, ASIIN - Germany and EUR-ACE.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

The Institute is located in two places in Box Hill (Elgar and Nelson), two locations in Lilydale (John St and Jarlo Dve), one in Melbourne CBD. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, short term courses, traineeships, and apprenticeships courses. Courses are offered in Arts, Fashion, Engineering, Aviation, Automotive, Cyber Security, Accounting, Languages, Game Development, Health, IT, Laboratories, Management, Nursing, Science, Sports, Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing and many more. 

Accomplishments & Alumni 

Box Hill Institute is proud to have won the 2018 International Training Provider of the Year award, presented in Sydney on Thursday, 15 November.
