Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) was originally established as the Winnipeg Technical College (WTC) to provide secondary and post-secondary education and train students to meet the employment needs of the marketplace. In 2014, WTC became Manitoba Institute of Trades & Technology (MITT) under the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology Act. MITT is a public post-secondary institution that provides a platform for innovative pathways to connect trained students with industries. The institution is dedicated to ensuring that each graduate of MITT achieves success in their profession.
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology has multiple campuses located in Manitoba, Canada, namely, the Henlow Campus, Fultz Campus, Pembina Campus, Erin Campus, Main Street Campus and the English Language Institute. Transportation and Public Transit facilities are available from the campuses. MITT offers students with facilities for food, recreation and affordable student housing services which are available for both domestic and international students. MITT offers career-oriented post-graduate, certificate and diploma-level technical training courses in four disciplines, i.e. business and information technology, human services, skilled trades and health care. The institution offers more than 25 post-secondary certificate and diploma programmes. The curriculum of the courses offered is designed to meet in-demand skills and requirements needed for successful employment after graduation.
