The University of Warwick is a public research university, founded in 1965 to initiate higher education as part of the U.K. government initiative, with the motto of “mind moves matter”. It is located in Coventry, England.
The university has several affiliations to make it one of the best universities in the world like AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS, EUA, Russell Group, Midlands Innovation.
QS Global World Ranking 2021 places the university at #62 and Times Higher Education ranks the university at 77th in its World University Rankings 2020.
Infrastructure, Campuses & Courses
The University has a 750 acres campus in Coventry, England. The University has a main campus, a satellite campus in Wellesbourne, and a central London base at the Shard. The state-of-the-art infrastructure of the university with high-quality equipment and facilities is very good and emphasizes strong analytical science and management training and skills. The library of the university hosts a myriad variety of books, magazines, journals including the modern record center as well.
The original buildings of the campus are the best example of the architecture of the era of the 1960s. The campus is split between parliamentary constituencies and Coventry South.

The university is ranked among the ‘very high’ in research output by QS Ranking.
The university yielded several notable alumni across the world, like Stephen Merchant who is a famous comic actor, Oliver Hart – Nobel Laureate in Economics, Andy Palmer – CEO of Aston Martin, Ralph Speth – CEO of Jaguar Land Rover.
Student Diversity & Visiting Companies
More than 20,000 students have enrolled at the university in the 2019-20 academic session. Approximately 41% of the students are international students. The gender ratio is almost perfect (49:51). The university has maintained a very good gender ratio of male and female students which is 50:50, and out of 27,000 students, more than 9000 are international students, thus making it one the most diverse universities in the U.K.
The students who pass out from the university are very well placed in all the fortune 500 companies. Companies like Google, Amazon, P&G, E&Y, Airbus, Siemens, Disneyland, Accenture, Deutsche Bank are the top employers of the graduates from the university.
