‘Malta’ is an island country situated in Southern Europe and is one of the smallest countries in the world. Its capital city ‘Valletta’ is the smallest capital city of the European Union. Italy is situated around 80 km to the south of Malta.
The people of Malta are called as Maltese and they are known to be friendly and helpful. Malta is one of the safest countries in the world which brings many foreign people in the country. The country is known for its heritage, culture and tradition. In fact, Malta is home to 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the World.
Another fact about Malta is that it has only one public university ‘The University of Malta’ which is the highest educational institution of the country. It is also ranked in the top 1000 list of Universities of the World. It is an ancient university founded in 1592 that offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degrees. Some of the popular courses in Malta include MBA, Diploma in Management, Business Communication. The university also offers a few courses in collaboration with US universities.
However, there are other private institutions and other higher education institutes that offer graduate programs to international students. Majority of the institutes are located in the capital city ‘Valletta’. The higher education institutes are equivalent to university and offer excellent education and training in various fields.
The country has over 600 international students from across 70 countries. Aesthetic environment, educational culture and dedication towards development makes Malta one of the preferred destinations for educational qualifications. In addition to higher education, international students also have opportunities to work and apply for residence after the completion of their studies. Infact, international students can find a job in the country and apply for a licence for work.

It is a lifelong experience for any student as they get an opportunity to study in a country with a traditional culture and historical background. It is a beautiful place to explore and experience something new in life.
