Officially known as the Republic of Poland, the country ‘Poland’ is located in Central Europe. It is the ninth largest country in Europe in terms of area. In recent years, Poland has caught an eye of international students for higher education that has majorly impacted the lives of students as well as the economy of Poland.
A recent survey suggests that high quality of education, flexibility for students to choose a specialisation after first semester, multicultural traditions and acceptance of overseas students by locals are the reasons why Poland attracts most of the international students for higher education. The top Universities of Poland includes University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University, Warsaw University of Technology, Adam Mickiewicz University, AGH University of Science and Technology to name a few. Including these universities, Poland has 15 universities listed in the top 1000 of QS World’s Universities Ranking. Jagiellonian University is one of the oldest universities in Europe which was founded in the 14th century.
