Overview

Formerly known as the Republic of Macedonia, the country ‘Macedonia’ is situated in southeastern Europe. The capital city of Macedonia ‘Skopje’ is also the largest city of the country. Macedonia prides itself on its mysterious statues, mountains and lake sites. Saint Mother Teresa, the Nobel Prize winner of Peace was born in Skopje in 1910 and later on moved to India where she lived for most of her life.
