Queen's University Belfast (QUB), founded in the year 1845, is one of the oldest universities in the United Kingdom. The university was established with an aim to help shape the world with innovative young minds. However, to provide lab sessions and clinical skills, etc that are not possible to provide online. So, the university will keep the session in-person and on campus.

Undergraduate application

Queen's University Belfast accept undergraduate applications via UCAS. Follow these quick steps to apply to QUB through UCAS:

Step 1: Register with the UCAS application portal

The very first step is to sign up at the UCAS application portal as it is the only organisation that manages all UK universities. So, go to the application portal and create an account or if a candidate is already an existing user, they can just log in. 

Step 2: Choose a course

International Office Undergraduate Scholarships are for international students who are studying full-time undergraduate programmes. The applicant is not required to apply for the scholarship personally. The value of the scholarship ranges between GBP 2,500 - 3,000.

Vice Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship

Vice Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarships are for selected new international students, who have enrolled themselves at the university for a full-time undergraduate programme. This scholarship will help the student get 50% of tuition fees paid for up to a maximum of four years. 

Queen's Excellence Award

This is a Merit-based scholarship which is exclusively for international students who will commence their full-time undergraduate programme for the 2022-2023 session. Candidates are not required to submit any application separately. The value of this scholarship is GBP 2,000.

Queen's Management School Awards for South East Asia

Queen's Management School Awards is for South East Asian students studying eligible postgraduate taught programmes at the university. This scholarship has been valued at GBP 5,000, for those who are resident in Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, North Korea, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand or Vietnam.

Queen's University Belfast Placement

The Queen's University Belfast has a Placement Office for its students that closely deals with a range of employers to develop beneficial placement programmes. The office offers a holistic approach to nurture the students employability skills. Preparation for the placement beings in first year and in the second year, the students attend a number of workshops on interview techniques, commercial awareness, presentation skills, peer learning, stress management, and so on. International Office Undergraduate Scholarship is available for international students enrolled in undergraduate studies at the Queen's University Belfast. The scholarship is awarded in the first year of undergraduate study only. 

How to Apply for International Office Undergraduate Scholarship? 
 
New international students enrolled in full-time studies of first-year undergraduate courses are eligible for International Office Undergraduate Scholarship. The student must meet the conditions of the academic programme to receive the scholarship.

There is no need to fill in a separate application for the scholarship. 

Those who meet the eligibility criteria and requirement are sent notification from the university about the receipt of the award. The scholarship amount is automatically awarded upon enrolment.

Award Value 

The value of  International Office Undergraduate Scholarship ranges between £2500 or £3000. 

Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship 2021/22

Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship is a competitive scholarship as it is awarded to only four students in an academic session. It is awarded to exceptionally talented international students enrolled in full-time undergraduate studies in the academic year.

How to Apply for Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship? 

To be considered for Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship, the applicant must complete the online application available on the official website of the university.

The application form must be submitted only by those students who have an offer for undergraduate studies at the Queen's University Belfast. 

Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship Application Deadline 2021/22

The deadline for Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship for 2021 is June 8, 2021. 

Award Value

50% reduction in the full international tuition fee. It is awarded each year for up to a maximum of four years.

Queen's Loyalty Scholarship

Queen's Loyalty Scholarship is available for students who are enrolled in Exchange, Study Abroad or International Summer School and have previously completed full-time studies at the Queen’s University Belfast campus.

The scholarship is awarded in the first year of studies only. 

How to Apply for Queen's Loyalty Scholarship? 

To be considered for Queen's Loyalty Scholarship, the applicant must complete the online application available on the official website of the university before the deadline. 

Only those students who have previously studied at the Queen's University Belfast and hold an offer from Queen's University Belfast for further full-time studies must use the application form to apply for the scholarship.

Application Deadline 2021 

The deadline for applications is 31st October, 2021.

Early Bird Reward

Early Bird Reward is available for international students who are enrolled in a full-time course at the Queen's University Belfast. The student must hold an unconditional offer from the university and should have paid 90% of the tuition fee by June 2021 to receive the award. 

The discount is awarded for the first year only and it is deducted from the tuition fees.
