It was founded in 1857 as Assumption College andrenamed the Assumption University of Windsor in 1956 which was finally changed to the University of Windsor in 1963. Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

The university campus is located in Windsor, Ontario in Canada, next to the busiest international border crossing of North America. It also has a downtown campus in heritage buildings in the city centre and the School of Social Work in the former Windsor Star building. The undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University of Windsor are offered under nine faculties namely Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, Law, Education, Nursing, Engineering, Business, Graduate Studies, Human Kinetics and Science. International students have options to choose from 190 undergraduate programs, 65 graduate programs and six professional programsthatare recognised worldwide.
