Macquarie University, situated in the suburbs of Macquarie Park in Sydney, Australia, was established in 1964. As per latest statistics, the institute witnessed 40,209 student enrolments for full-time programmes, while 12,414 students enrolled themselves in part-time courses. Macquarie University spans across 126 acres of land and has three campuses. where it provides a range of courses to both national and international students. Macquarie University refines its policies and guidance in response to COVID-19 pandemic at regular intervals. As per the New South Wales rules, wearing masks is not required everywhere, however the university still encourages its students and staff to wear masks in indoor settings.

There are two options via which students can apply at Macquarie University - the university website or Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). However, UAC is only for Australian or New Zealand citizens.
So, international candidates can only apply at Macquarie University via its online portal for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Check out the steps below:
Step 1: The very first step is to register on the university website. Enter email ID and other details to proceed with registration.
Step 2: After registering, set your account's password.
Step 3: Now you will be redirected to a page to choose the course. Select your desired course by just typing keywords.
Step 4: Select the study level as well and click on 'Search Now'.
Step 5: Now the screen will start showing number of courses with different levels. Select the course level you want to pursue and click on 'Apply Now'.
Step 6: Now you will be required to fill out a form. Read all the instructions carefully to proceed further. Ensure to answer all the questions.
Step 7: Now attach the required documents as asked in the form.
Step 8: Recheck again and click 'Submit'.
Macquarie University's application process timing varies according to courses applied. Students will receive an acknowledgement of the same via email once their applications are checked properly.

The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is given to international students for their academic excellence.
